1969 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible
427 / 435  4-Speed
This 1969 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is a true survivor with only 37,000 original miles.  It has never been restored or modified in any way and comes equipped with the 427/435 Tri-Power motor and the following list of options…

-L71 435-HP Turbo Jet 427 V8
-K66 Full-Transistor Ignition
-G81 4.11 Positraction Axle
-M21 4-Speed Close-Ratio Transmission
-C07 Auxiliary Hardtop
-U69 AM/FM Pushbutton Radio
-F41 Special Purpose Suspension
-UA6 Audio Alarm System
-U15 Speed Warning Indicator

The condition of the car is highly original and shows very few signs of age.

The car runs and drives as new.  The engine exhibits the proper compression and everything works as it should.  The 4-speed manual transmission shifts smoothly.

The body has never had any sort of damage, and retains all of its original fiberglass.  The Cortez Silver paint, while mostly original, still shines.  All of the chrome still retains the factory shine.

The interior shows slight use, but is in very presentable and well preserved condition.  There are no rips or tears anywhere on the upholstery.  The dashboard and gauges are very nice, with no scratches evident.  The door panels are very nice and show minor signs of use.  The carpet, while original, shows light fading behind the seats.

The soft top is presentable and still shines, but shows signs of use, and has one small tear behind the driver's side door.  The fit of the top is very good, especially for a corvette.  Overall, the top is in very good condition.

The hardtop is in excellent condition.  The Cortez Silver paint is almost perfect, with one small scratch toward the front of the top.  The back glass, headliner, and trim are also in very nice.

The engine compartment is an amazing sight to see.  Every component in the engine compartment is original and/or correct, as some parts such as hoses and belts had to be replaced during the last 38 years.

The undercarriage, while not detailed for show, exhibits the usual signs of use for a low-mileage car, and is amazingly well preserved, showing a nice patina.

The original gas tank was removed from the car approximately 13 years ago, the tank sticker carefully removed, and the tank then cleaned and re-installed.  The tank sticker is in good condition and very readable.  Please inspect the tank sticker in the photo, as it is an invaluable piece of the history of this particular corvette!
